I will not question his motives: Senator John McCain has earned my respect with his attempt to stem the tide of hatred.
John and Barack, put your efforts towards health care, growing the economy and getting our immigration system in order. Let's get a plan together so that we can send our kids to college without having to sell a body part, Gentlemen! We are all aging daily...how are we going to retire when our retirement fund is disappearing each passing day!? I didn't save my refrigerator box, so lets figure it out!

Preach it sister! The next year is going to be interesting as we watch our financial markets hopefully regain their footing, and we elect a new president. I read an article in the paper today about a woman fearing bank runs enough to pull out her savings. She now has $20K in her house...under her mattress...Uh, not sure that is the best solution either. Sigh.

From what I'm reading, it's basically bank runs that closed WAMU....I picture the famous scene out of it's a "Wonderful Life"...everyone running for their cash. We need a George Bailey to run for office!
